Traffic stop leads to arrest of Evansville woman on multiple drug charges. 
On August 18, 2018, at 11:51 p.m. Sergeant Bryan Small conducted a traffic stop on a Silver 2000 Dodge Stratus for traveling left of center on Clark Street in Princeton. After a roadside investigation was conducted the vehicle’s owner 27 year old Kelcey Elijah of Evansville was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Jail Ms. Elijah was charged with Dealing in Methamphetamines, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamines, and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe. She remains in custody without bond.
Assisting Sgt. Small in his investigation was Princeton Officers Dan Goedde and Brandt George.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
