Good Morning,

On Saturday evening at 1048 pm, patrols responded to Harter Road for an activated burglar alarm and found the front doors forced open. The home was unoccupied at the time of the burglary. 

There is camera footage that indicates three males entered the home through the front door after forcing the door open. The males are wearing hooded sweatshirts and gloves. The suspects left the residence after the audible alarm sounded. 

Morris Township Police are investigating and patrol efforts are being focused in this area. Please remain vigilant and report suspicious behavior immediately.

Please remember to take the following preventative measures when not at home. Lock doors, leave some lights on, consider leaving a vehicle in the driveway which is visible, have packages removed from front steps. 

A meeting will be scheduled with Neighborhood Watch Captains for mid-September. An additional message concerning the meeting will be forthcoming.
