1 Injured in Crash

Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 8/18/18 at 1438 hrs, his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash, that occurred at the intersection of Brush Rd and Redfield St, in Milton Township, Cass County, Michigan. 44 yr old, Niles resident, Timothy Mcintyre, was South bound when a West bound vehicle, driven by 61 yr old, Mary Barths of South Bend, failed to stop at the sign at the intersection and the vehicles collided. Mr. Mcintyre was treated and release at the scene, however Ms. Barths was transported by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment. Seat belts were worn and alcohol does not appear to be a factor. This case remains under investigation
