1 Injured in Rollover Crash

Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 8/18/18 at 1921 hours, his office was called to investigate a person injury crash. 46 yr old, Dowagiac resident, Shawn Jones, was West bound on Marcellus Hwy when he lost control of his vehicle running off the roadway and over turning. Mr. Jones stated he swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. Mr. Jones was transported to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment. Seat belts were worn. Alcohol may have been a factor. This case remains under investigation.
