INCIDENT: Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography

LOCATION: 5400 block of Salt Bush Way, Fontana

SUSPECT(S): Brittany Clark, 34 years old, resident of Fontana
Brett Kuch, 34 years old, resident of Rancho Cucamonga

During the course of this investigation, Investigators from the Crimes Against Children Division (CAC) found evidence that connected Brittany Clark to the Possession/Distribution of Child Pornography investigation. On Monday, August 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Detectives from the Rancho Cucamonga Station made contact with Brittany Clark at the United Christian Academy in the City of Rancho Cucamonga and placed her under arrest. At the conclusion of the interview, Clark was arrested for Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography and booked into the West Valley Detention Center. Bail was set at $100,000.
CAC Investigators determined that Brittany Clark and Brett Kuch were in a previous dating relationship.

The investigation has revealed that Brittany Clark has been a teacher's aide for about eight years. Clark is currently employed as a teacher’s aide at the United Christian Academy in Rancho Cucamonga and previously worked at Water of Life Church in Fontana. At this time, Investigators have not found any evidence that Clark had inappropriate photographs of students, or had inappropriate contact with any students during her employment as an aide.

SUMMARY: On Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 10:30 am, detectives and deputies from the Specialized Enforcement Detail (SED) contacted Brett Kuch at the intersection of Hellman Ave and Pine Ave. in the city of Chino. Investigators from Crimes Against Children Division (CAC) conducted an interview with Kuch and at the conclusion of the investigation, Kuch was arrested for Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography. Kuch was subsequently booked into the Central Detention Center and bail was set at $500,000.
