Sheriff Victor Hill’s Operation “Judgement Of The Dark Knight” Nets 25 Arrested
Yesterday, Clayton County Police, Jonesboro Police, and The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office teamed up to execute Sheriff Victor Hill’s operation “Judgement Of The Dark Knight”. A total of 25 arrests were made in the ongoing crusade to clean up Clayton County.
When Officers and Sheriff’s Deputies went to a home on Winewood Way in Riverdale to arrest Shaun Homes for a probation violation warrant, Michael Gay answered the door. Gay told Officers and Sheriff’s Deputies that he was the only one home. Officers and Deputies was surprised that Gay’s nose did not grow when they found Homes hiding in a bedroom thus proving that Gay had close ties to Pinocchio. Deputies also found a large amount of raw marijuana, glass containers, a small scale, and little baggies for packaging to distribute it for sale.
When another team of Officers and Sheriff’s Deputies went to the “Hometown Inn” in Riverdale to arrest Olalekan Akinruntan for failure to appear in court, they found more than they was looking for as well. Tyrone Hampton and Decarlos King answered the door. When asked to produce identification to prove who they were, Hampton said his identification was on the other side of the bed. Sheriff’s Deputies followed Hampton to make sure all he was going to get was his identification and saw a gun in open view. Sheriff’s Deputies also saw what looked like cocaine in the same area. After locking down the room and getting a search warrant, the weapon turn out to be a gun stolen from a law-enforcement agency and multiple type of drugs were located. Ironically, Mr. Akinruntan was not located and both Hampton and King stated they neither knew or heard of him. They were both upset about the bad luck Akinruntan had bestowed upon them as they were simply trying to mind their own criminal business.
The four mentioned suspects along with 21 others are all now enjoying a luxurious stay at the “Hill-ton” which remains Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
