On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., the Simi Valley Police Department will have the air conditioning system replaced. Due to a large crane, numerous workers and the dangerous operation this entails, the walkway and public entrance to the police station front lobby will be closed to ensure public safety.

The Police Mobile Command Center will be operational in the front parking lot to provide limited Front Desk and Records Bureau services. Police Service Officers will be staffing the Mobile Command Center to assist the public during this brief time period. Citizens coming to the police station should look for the blue & white motorhome style vehicle parked in the front parking lot. As soon as the safety issues are resolved, normal access to the police facility will resume.

Public parking will still be available in the City’s overflow parking lot on the west side of Michael F. Clark Parkway, which is accessed from the police station entrance. Although we ask you to “Pardon our Dust,” a new air conditioning system will allow us to comfortably provide excellent service to our community for decades. Front Desk services begin at 8:00 a.m. and the Records Bureau services begin at 9:00 a.m.
