Flood Warning

Flood Warning until 12:30 AM on 8/15 for small streams and low-lying areas. Do not drive through flooded roads.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a 

* Flood Warning for the Schuylkill River at Philadelphia.
* From this evening to late Tuesday night... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 4:00 PM Monday the stage was 9.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage tonight and continue to rise to near 12.2 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow evening.
* Impact... at 12.0 feet... Main Street in Manayunk floods in the area of Shurs Lane.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 12.1 feet on Oct 9 2005.
