Intoxicated person call leads to arrest of reporting party on possession of a stolen vehicle charge.

On August 11, 2018, at 6:24 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave a residence in the 3000 block of east 1025 South. Upon arriving Deputy Jennifer Loesch spoke with the reporting party 45 year old Deanna May Rose of Louisville, Kentucky before dealing with the severely intoxicated male. During the investigation into the incident Deputy Loesch transported the intoxicated male to the Gibson General Emergency Room for medical clearance, but the male was too intoxicated to be released to the jails custody. Upon reviewing her notes from the call Deputy Loesch believed that Ms. Rose, the reporting party had given a false date of birth in an effort to conceal her true identity. At that point Deputy Loesch returned to the residence to positively identify Ms. Rose. During a second investigation a Black Cadillac passenger car was found on the residence and upon running the vehicle through the National Crime Information Center the vehicle came back as stolen through Louisville. After a second brief investigation Ms. Rose was positively identified and admitted to possessing the stolen vehicle. At the conclusion of this second investigation Ms. Rose was transported to the Gibson County Jail where she has since posted a $1500 bond. Ms. Rose also faces possible charges out of Kentucky. A warrant has been requested for the arrest of the intoxicated male for Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Haubstadt Officer Jeremy Volk an Sergeant Bruce Vanoven of the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
