The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Southeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey...
* Until 330 PM EDT.
* At 1207 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain still moving across portions of the warned area. With flash flooding still ongoing from heavy rain earlier in the day, this flash flood warning has been extended into the afternoon.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include... Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Jackson, Howell, Tinton Falls, Red Bank, Beachwood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Lakehurst, Farmingdale, Mantoloking, Allenwood, West Freehold, Adelphia, Vista Center, Elberon and Brick Township. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the northern portions of the warned area. Rain in the southern portions of the warned area has ended for the time being.
