SUSPECT:
Christopher Peterson, 40 year old, Ontario Resident
Shortly after the homicide, Pomona Police Department received information from Ontario PD that a male subject called stating that he was involved in the shooting in Pomona. Pomona PD and Ontario PD officers responded to the 1000 Block of Berkeley Court in Ontario where they detained the person who called. Homicide Detectives investigation revealed sufficient evidence to book the suspect for two counts of murder. This investigation is still on going.

On 8/12/18 at approx. 0431 hrs, Pomona Police Department received a medical aid call of two victims of a shooting in the 100 Block of East Second St. Officers arrived on scene and found two male victims who were shot several times. Both Victims are deceased. We have no suspect information at this time. Homicide Detectives were called in to investigate.
