Tip of the Week: NEVER Leave Children or Pets in Your Vehicle in Hot Weather!!!

This summer, we are finding ourselves in an extended heat wave with temperatures in the triple digits as early as 10:30 in the morning. When temperatures outside range from 80 degrees to 100 degrees, the temperature inside a car parked in direct sunlight can quickly climb to between 130 to 172 degrees, even with the windows left partially down. These temperatures can be fatal to children and pets. When you are out and about, always bring you kids with you when you are going to leave your vehicle. Do your pets a favor and leave them at home!

Take care, and be safe.
