                Deputy Gioia Holland of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Robert Lee Reel, 23, of 1170 Old Toms Creek Road in Marion, with larceny of a motor vehicle.
                She also charged Timothy Brian Revis, 37, of 44 Ball Lane in Nebo, with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a firearm by a felon.
                Shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, Holland was en route to 830 Toms Creek Road to take a report of a stolen 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser owned by Emily Gibbs, of Black Mountain.
                While on her way, the deputy received information that the victim’s mother had followed the stolen Land Cruiser to a residence on Hankins Road.
                Holland arrived and found that Reel had been driving the automobile , and Revis was the passenger.
                During further investigation, the deputy located a handgun in Revis’ possession. He is a convicted felon.
