The Red Flag warning just issued by the Sacramento Office of the National Weather Service was not intended for Sonoma County and was an error.
We use a rebroadcast feature to keep the public automatically updated and are working on the issue now. We will stop using the Nixle automated feature until the situation can be rectified.

With that said, we do have very dry grass and vegitation and we do encourage everyone to be fire smart. We are doing a really good job keeping fires out of Sonoma County and we appreciate everyone doing their part. Way to go Sonoma!!!!
