Temporary Power Outage August 9, 2018 that will affect the Southside of town: The School, houses 25-59 and 117-131. From 1:30pm-3pm.
The Municipal Electric Utility will be changing an electrical unit this Thursday, August 9, 2018, that will affect the power to the School and house numbers 25-59, 117-131 (Southside of town). The power will be out starting at1:30 PM. until about 3 PM.
Please prepare your homes for the power outage. Any electronic devices, computer equipment that may be affected by power outages should always be plugged into surge protectors. Some refrigerators, microwaves, freezers, etc. have electronic controls, so you should treat the same as a computer, if possible. It never hurts to be ready for an electrical “surprise”.
