Vandalia Shooting Investigation 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports his office is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Village of Vandalia, Cass County, Michigan on Monday, Aug 6th, 2018 at approx. 1844 Hrs.
Officers from the Cass County Office of Sheriff, along with Troopers from MSP- Niles and Officers from the Pokagon Tribal Police responded to 17855 State St for a call of shots fired. Officers found that a subject had fired several rounds at the house and then fled on foot. Officers were able to locate and detain the subject involved in the incident. No one was hurt during the shooting and the incident remains under investigation. The subject identified as being involved in the shooting was arrested for multiple charges and lodged at the Cass County Correctional Facility. Subject's name is being withheld pending arraignment on related charges.
