Heat Advisory / Cooling Locations
South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management is advising residents of the heat advisory covering our community and two cooling locations in the Township.
Weather Advisory
A hot and humid air mass will build over the region for the start of the new work week. A Heat Advisory is now in effect for most of the region.
Hazardous Weather: Dangerously hot and humid conditions with maximum heat index values above 100 degrees across much of the region. The hottest conditions are expected in along the I-95 urban corridor.
Locations affected: Most of New Jersey
Timing: Monday afternoon and evening, although a Heat Advisory may be needed on Tuesday as well.
Impacts: These heat index values can cause heat related stress particularly among at-risk populations. Those especially vulnerable include elderly, children, those with pre-existing conditions, especially if they live near urban centers without air conditioning.
High confidence that Monday will be dangerously hot and humid. Moderate confidence in dangerously hot and humid conditions on Tuesday.

- South Brunswick Public Library – 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction Hours –Monday to Friday–10am – 9pm
