Traffic stop leads to the arrest of three on drug charges and false informing.

On August 1, 2018, at 7:55 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop on a Marron 2002 van for driving left of center on South Main in Princeton, Indiana. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Smith attempted to identify the persons in the vehicle, but was given false information by occupants in the vehicle. At that point Deputy Smith called for backup and began a roadside investigation into the identity of all occupants in the vehicle. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Smith placed the driver 52 year old Jeanette Lewis of Oakland City into custody. Also taken into custody were 34 year old Richard Bradshaw and 24 year old Jordyn Finney both of Oakland City.

Upon being transported to the Gibson County Jail Ms. Lewis was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of a Syringe, and False Informing. She remains in custody on a $750 bond.

Mr. Bradshaw was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Marijuana, False Informing, and an outstanding Writ of Attachment. Mr. Bradshaw remains in custody on a $5,500 bond.

Ms. Finney was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia and False Informing. She remains in custody on a $750 bond.

Assisting Deputy Smith in his investigation was Special Deputy Zach Lienemann.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
