Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the death of a man. The incident occurred on the 300 block of South Frankfurt Avenue, West Covina, Friday, August 3, 2018, at approximately 8:04 p.m.

Deputies from Walnut Station responded to the location regarding a fire rescue call. Upon their arrival, they located the victim who had experienced an unknown type of medical emergency. The victim, a male White in his early 50’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have learned that the victim was intellectually disabled, and may have been accidentally left inside a vehicle for an unknown length of time.

The driver of the vehicle is cooperative at this time, and being detained pending interviews by detectives. 

The investigation is ongoing.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the death of a man. The incident occurred Friday, August 3, 2018, at approximately 7:38 p.m., on the 300 block of South Frankfurt Avenue, West Covina.  

The male adult was pronounced dead on scene.
