1 Injured in Crash

Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 08/04/18 at approximately 0120 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on Lake Dr near Sunset Blvd in Porter Township, Cass County Michigan. 45 yr old, Resident of Union, MI, Chad E Bowman, was driving Northbound on Sunset Blvd turning onto Lake Dr when he lost control of his motorcycle causing it to land on its side.
The driver, Bowman, was trasported by Porter ambulance to Lakeland Niles for minor injuries. A Helmet was not worn in this incident. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
