Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Mastic last night.
Jhaelenn Brown was operating a 2017 Honda motorcycle southbound on Mastic Road when he lost control of the vehicle, skidded and fell to the ground.
Brown, 17, of Bay Shore was transported by Mastic Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A white sedan, driven by an adult female with blond hair was seen in the area at the time of the crash. While not involved, the woman may have witnessed the incident and detectives would welcome the opportunity to speak with her or anyone else who may have information.
