* Until 830 PM EDT.
* At 535 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in the Manchester area after heavy rain earlier. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Manchester, Derry, Merrimack, Bedford, Hooksett, Amherst, Litchfield, Epping, New Boston, Raymond, Goffstown, Londonderry, Bow, Chester, Allenstown, Deerfield, Candia, Dunbarton and Pembroke. This includes the following highways... Interstate 293 between mile markers 1 and 11. Interstate 93 between mile markers 14 and 32.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MERRIMACK, NH ... ROCKINGHAM, NH ... HILLSBOROUGH, NH
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
