At 124 PM EDT, reporting stream gauges indicated flooding was ongoing along Abbott's Creek in Lexington which is currently sitting at 19.64 FT and cresting. While heavy rain has come to an end, flooding due to water runoff will likely continue into the afternoon hours. Take extra precaution, especially if traveling. Law enforcement did report that most flooding was confined to areas along and near the creek. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lexington.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway.
