* Flood Warning for Small Streams in... Northwestern Randolph County in central North Carolina... Western Guilford County in central North Carolina...
* Until 1145 PM EDT
* At 838 PM EDT, reporting stream gauges indicate that flooding was still occurring along creeks and streams in western Guilford county into northwest Randolph County, though the heavy downpours have ended. Flood waters are moving down Reedy Creek and Brush Creek. Smaller tributaries to feed into these creeks are likely still in flood.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RANDOLPH, NC ... GUILFORD, NC
Instructions:
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely.
