Sheriff's Office seeks Explorer Program participants. Next meeting scheduled for August 7th on Hilton Head. 
The Sheriff's Office is seeking participants between the ages of 14 and 21 for our Explorer Program. Benefits of our program include opportunities to ride along with patrol officers, education and hands-on training. Our program provides a great foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.
The Sheriff's Office Explorer Program—Explorer Post 278—has bi-weekly meetings on Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Sheriff's Office's Hilton Head Island substation located at 70 Shelter Cove Lane. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7th.
