Subject: Dunkin Donuts Cop on a Rooftop

On Friday August 17, 2018, the Sun Prairie Police Department will once again be participating in the Cop on a Rooftop Law Enforcement Torch Run event at the Sun Prairie Dunkin Donuts location (950 Windsor Street). The event will run from 6:00am to 11:00am. All proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics of Wisconsin. Last year, with the help of a large number of volunteer officers from the Sun Prairie Police Department and Dane County Sheriff’s Office, we were able to partner with Dunkin Donuts and raise $3089.22 for Special Olympics of Wisconsin!

This year will be the fourth year that the Sun Prairie Police Department has been involved in this event and we have received overwhelming positive feedback from community members who have attended. It is important to remember that this event benefits Special Olympics Wisconsin, which includes a large number of athletes from our own community. The amount of support for the Sun Prairie Police Department and Special Olympics Wisconsin from this community has truly been amazing.
