Chino Hills Station and Chino Police partnered to conduct a roadway safety patrol operation

LOCATION: Carbon Canyon Road, City of Chino Hills
SUMMARY:
The Chino Hills Police Department’s Traffic Division, along with the assistance of the Chino Police Department’s Traffic Division, conducted a roadway safety extra patrol operation on Carbon Canyon Road (State Route 142) between the intersections with Chino Hills Parkway and Oakway Lane. The purpose of the operation was to enhance roadway safety through education and enforcement action for violations of the California Vehicle Code, and to prevent traffic collisions.
During the operation, 39 traffic citations were issued for speeding, distracted driving, illegal turns, crossing double-parallel yellow lines, gridlock and red traffic signal violations.
