Child Molester Who Attempted To Commit Suicide Before Capture Taken Alive By Sheriff Hill’s Elite Fugitive Squad

Deyon Dupree made Sheriff Victor Hill’s most wanted when warrants were taken out for him molesting a child who would have been his soon to be step daughter.  When Dupree’s fiancé found out what he had done to her daughter, she confronted him.  Dupree fell to his knees and begged her not to call the Police.   Dupree even made the plea that the child would not have to do any more chores if she would just say she made it all up.

Dupree had plead guilty to cruelty to children in another jurisdiction in the past,  but now he was in Clayton County where he knew his fate was sealed.  He knew would be hunted without relent.   When the Police arrived, Dupree fled out of the back door.

Clayton County Police investigators found that the child had been molested several times.  The details of the molestation were horrific.  Investigators were also able to obtain a tape recording of Dupree admitting to some of his horrific acts.  Warrants for aggravated child molestation and sodomy were issued by a judge.

When Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite Fugitive Squad was tasked with finding Dupree, they were told that Dupree planned on taking his life if he was confronted by law-enforcement.   The Fugitive Squad vowed  to take him in alive so that he could live to face the walls of the “Hill-ton” for years to come.

Last night the Fugitive Squad found Dupree hiding in an abandoned van in a parking lot in Riverdale.  When they commanded Dupree to come out he began to cut both of his wrists with a box cutter.  Dupree cut a 3 inch wound on 1 arm and a 4 inch wound on his other arm.  The Fugitive Squad broke out the windows of the van and pulled Dupree out of the van applying tourniquets to stop the bleeding until EMS arrived. One Sheriff’s Deputy received cuts to his hand during the arrest and had to receive stitches as well.

Dupree is now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail and will be kept alive and well to face trial and many years in jail for victimizing an innocent child.
