On 07/29/2018 at approximately 3:20 PM, Folsom Police Department Dispatch received multiple calls regarding gun shots in the 700 block of King Way. Officers arrived on scene and located two men with gunshot wounds.
One of the men was pronounced deceased at the scene by fire department personnel. The other man was transported to an area hospital for further medical treatment. While on his way to the hospital, he succumb to his injuries and passed away.
Initial reports appears this was domestic disturbance related. Folsom Police Department Detectives and CSI are currently at the scene processing it further.
No additional information is available at this time. The Sacramento County Coroner will release the names of the two men after next of kin has been notified.
