McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are in search of a runaway teen, last seen on Wednesday afternoon, July 25.
                The grandparents of Ciera Jacquelyn Dawn Waldrop, 16, reported her missing on Thursday, July 26. They told deputies they hadn’t seen her since she left their 407 Hidden Forest Drive residence at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
                Waldrop is described as a white female who stands 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 101 pounds. She has long brown hair and green eyes, wears glasses, has a tattoo on her thigh and has a ring through the front of her nose. She was last seen wearing gray jogging pants, a blue T-shirt and black tennis shoes.
                Anyone with information concerning Waldrop’s whereabouts is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2235 or the McDowell County 911 communications center at 652-4000.
