I-57 Detour continues onto Rt. 161, 37 and 50. Main and Broadway traffic congested in Salem, I-57 North Bound MM109 to MM116 is closed. 
Interstate 57 remains closed due to accident. All North Bound traffic being rerouted onto Rt. 161 at MM109 and returned onto I-57 at MM116. 161, Rt. 37 and Rt. 50 (West Main in Salem) remains congested. Illinois State Police advising closure could continue for awhile longer. Thank you.
