The Denville Police Department would like to remind everyone to make sure their vehicles are locked and any valuables are removed, or at least hidden out of sight, when the vehicle is left unattended. In addition, never leave the vehicle's keys/key fob inside of the vehicle. There has been a recent increase in burglaries of unlocked motor vehicles in Denville and the surrounding communities, to include several that occurred last night.

If you see anyone or anything suspicious in your neighborhood, please contact us immediately so that we can investigate. Reports can be made to 9-1-1 if you feel it is an emergency or by calling our non-emergency number, 973-627-4900 x 334.
