Bloomington man shot and killed at an illegal marijuana dispensary

VICTIM: Mark Cox, age 25 of Bloomington
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, July 21, 2018, at approximately 10:15 pm, deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station responded to the 18000 block of Valley Boulevard following reports of a shooting, and the victim, later identified as Mark Cox, being driven to a local hospital. Cox was pronounced deceased upon arrival to the hospital. When the deputies arrived at the incident location, they discovered it was an illegal marijuana dispensary.
Investigators from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded to the location and are currently conducting the investigation.
