Incident: Non-injury hit and run traffic collision
Location of Incident: Intersection of Hollis St. and 67th St.
Date/Time Occurred: 7/20/18 @ 3:31 pm
Incident Case Number: 1807-1704

On Friday July 20th at approx. 3:31 pm Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Hollis St. and 67th St. for a traffic accident with a vehicle reported to have crashed into a building.

Officers arrived and located 5 vehicles involved with one of them having collided into a building. Officers also learned the individual responsible for causing the collision had fled the scene prior to their arrival.

One of the involved parties initially sustained a complaint of pain and was transported to a local area hospital. At this time it is determined none of the involved parties sustained any injuries.

The damage to the building consisted of the front door and door frame being damaged and a broken water pipe. The water was turned off at the building pending repairs and the front door to the business was secured by the owners.

During the course of their investigation, Officers learned the identity of the subject who fled the scene. The case will be forwarded to the Alameda County DA's Office for review.

At this time there is no threat to the public's safety and no additional information available.
