Injury Traffic Collision in San Anselmo 
San Anselmo, Ca 07/18/2018. A vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision occurred on Redhill Avenue at Forbes Avenue at approximately 4:40 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
The Central Marin Police Authority received numerous 911 calls stating that there had been a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Redhill Avenue. It was reported that the pedestrian was hit by a silver Chrysler in the westbound number one lane of Redhill Avenue just west of Forbes Avenue.
Firefighters and Medics were dispatched to the scene of the collision and began treating the 41 year old female pedestrian. CMPA Officers arrived shortly thereafter and began an investigation.
The driver of the involved vehicle was contacted at the scene and has been cooperating with the ongoing investigation. It does not appear that drugs or alcohol played a factor in the collision. It appears that the pedestrian was not crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when the collision occurred.
Any witnesses are encouraged to contact the Central Marin Police Authority.
The patient was transported to Marin General Hospital for further treatment.
