Pomona Police Investigate Fatal Traffic Collision

On July 18th, 2018 at about 9:41 PM, Pomona Police Dispatch received a call of an injury traffic collision in the area of Towne Ave north of Foothill Blvd. When Officers arrived on scene, they located a victim down in lanes of traffic and a person who identified them self as the driver of the car who had struck the victim. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel treated the victim on scene but the injuries were so severe, they were not able to revive the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased and was later released to the Los Angeles County Coroner at the scene.
