The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of July 01– July 07, 2018
 
July 01, 2018

• No significant activity.

•  A Grand Theft was reported on the 600 block of Woodbluff Street.  Jewelry was stolen from the victim’s bedroom while she was out of town. There were no signs of forced entry. 

•  A Grand Theft Auto was reported at 1600 Mountain Avenue (Wal-Mart).  A 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen from the parking lot.  The vehicle was recovered by Arcadia P.D. on 07-07-18.

• Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies, and Duarte Public Safety Officers conducted fireworks suppression throughout the City of Duarte.  Thirty-one Administrative citations for the discharge of illegal fireworks were issued, at $1,000 dollars each.

•   A Grand Theft was reported at 2315 Huntington Drive (CVS).  An adult male stole a “Zebra” merchandise scanner from the store.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for possession of illegal narcotics, and an adult female for battery on a peace officer.

• No significant activity. 

• Deputies arrested an adult male for annoying phone calls.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for a parole violation, an adult male for possession of illegal narcotics, and an adult male for grand theft.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for being under the influence of a controlled substance, an adult female for possession of narcotic paraphernalia, an adult male and female for trespassing, an adult male for possession of illegal narcotics and possession of narcotic paraphernalia, two adult males for possession of illegal narcotics, an adult male for leaving the scene of a collision, and an adult male for a parole violation.
