Sheriff's Office seeks information from public on the Seabrook shooting death of 28-year-old Edward Sean Aiken.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the shooting death of 28-year-old Edward Sean Aiken that occurred overnight in Seabrook. This morning, investigators located evidence of the shooting at a residence on Seabrook Center Road, a short distance from where Aiken was found deceased in a ditch. Those evidentiary items were collected and will be submitted to the forensic services laboratories at the Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division for forensic analysis.
As of late this afternoon, the subject or subjects responsible for Edward Sean Aiken's death have not been located and their identities remain under investigation. The Beaufort County Coroner's Office scheduled a forensic autopsy to be performed tommorow morning at the Medical University of South Carolina to aid in the determination of the cause and manner of Aiken's death.
