Deceased gunshot victim found this morning on Seabrook Center Road identified as 28-year-old Edward Sean Aiken.
The Beaufort County Coroner's Office identified this morning's Seabrook murder victim as 28-year-old Edward Sean Aiken. Aiken, who is from Seabrook, was found in a ditch off of Seabrook Center Road and is believed to have died from gunshot wounds sustained sometime overnight. A forensic autopsy has been scheduled to be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina tomorrow morning to aid in the determination of the cause and manner of Aiken's death.
Sheriff's Office investigators are still on-scene processing for forensic evidence and interviewing witnesses. As of this time, the subject or subjects responsible for Edward Sean Aiken's shooting death have not been located.
