Homicide Investigation @ 800 Blk. W. 5th Street 
On 07/18/2018 at approximately 0250 hours, Wilmington Police responded to the 800 Blk. W. 5th Street regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 50 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital and subsequently pronounced dead. Wilmington Detectives are currently on scene, and the investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be forthcoming when received and confirmed.
