INCIDENT: Attempted Armed Robbery

LOCATION: 15400 block of Roy Rogers Drive

SUSPECT(S): Unknown, Black Male Adult
Unknown, Black Female Adult

VICTIM(S): Home Depot


SUMMARY: On July 17, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to Home Depot in the 15400 block of Roy Rogers Drive for an attempted armed robbery, that had just occurred.

Store employees confronted a male and two females as they were exiting the business, after noticing one of the females was carrying merchandise that had not been paid for. The man brandished a handgun at the employees as the female dropped the merchandise and all three left the store. The suspects got into a newer model black Jeep, possibly a Cherokee, with yellow paper dealer plates. They left the location westbound on Roy Rogers Drive. An extensive area check was conducted but the suspects and vehicle were not located.

The male suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 6’00” tall with a thin build. He had a long, afro type hairdo pulled back into a ponytail and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt and black basketball shorts. The female suspects were described as black female adults, heavy build, one wearing a red and grey shirt and blue jeans, the other wearing a blue shirt. It is believed two more black male adults were in the Jeep.
