The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
July 16th
1202 Hours: Officer Wallace investigated an storage building burglary at Fusion Storm, 39660 Eureka Drive. The loss is miscellaneous tools, a grill and smoker.
1558 Hours: Officer Rivera investigated the theft of a 2001 gray Pontiac Montana (CA License #4NWU823) from the NewPark Mall parking lot.
2100 Hours: Officer Norvell recovered a recovered a reported stolen construction trailer on the 38800 block of Cherry Street. The trailer was released to the registered owner.
2320 Hours: Officer Norvell investigated an auto burglary on the 5600 block of Mowry Avenue. The loss is a computer.
