Motorcyclist facing numerous charges after leading deputy on high-speed chase
Deputy Jordon Frisbee of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Daniel McCoy Bradley, 39, of 104 Casey Drive in Marion, with fleeing to elude arrest, reckless driving, driving left of center, failure to stop for a stop sign, speeding, no motorcycle endorsement, operating a vehicle with no insurance, resisting a public officer and driving while license revoked.
At 10 p.m. on Monday, July 16, Deputy Frisbee was patrolling on Harmony Grove Road in Nebo, when a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction came into the deputy’s lane and almost struck the patrol car.
Frisbee attempted to initiate a traffic stop, at which time the motorcycle sped up and led the deputy on a high-speed pursuit onto Gaddy Road South to N.C. 226 South and onto Tatertown Road, where he jumped from the out-of-control bike and fled on foot.
The deputy apprehended the suspect, identified as Bradley, on Tatertown Road after a short foot chase.
