Simi Valley resident arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats.

On 7/16/18 at about 530 pm, Simi Valley resident Sulaiman Alameer (3/02/83) was arrested for assaulting another Simi Valley resident with a blunt object, causing significant injuries. This took place in the 2500 block of N. Alden Street. The two victims, one male and the other female, are both adults and also live in Simi Valley. The victims are known to Alameer and after an argument ensued, Alameer threatened to kill them both and then proceeded to attack them. During the melee, Alameer struck the male victim with a blunt object which caused significant injuries to the victim's head.
Fortunately, Simi Valley Police Officers arrived in time and were able to arrest Alameer prior to him inflicting more damage to either victim.

Alameer was eventually transported to the Ventura County Main Jail where he was booked for 245(a)(1) PC- Assault with a Deadly Weapon, 243(d) PC- Battery Resulting in Significant Injury, and two counts of 422 PC- Criminal Threats.
