Pair charged with drug offenses after deputy sees them unresponsive in vehicle 
Deputy Jon Carter of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Scott Ellis Davis, 43, of 26 Proctors Knob Road in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon.
Carter also charged Holly Michelle Schism, 37, of 1756 Toms Creek Road in Marion, with possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 11:30 p.m. on Friday, June 29, Deputy Carter responded to the area of 55 Mountain Ivy Drive in Marion to find a vehicle sitting in the road with two occupants unresponsive in the front seat.
It was determined that Davis was driving, and Schism was the passenger.
A subsequent search of the vehicle and the suspects turned up .52 gram of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and two concealed knives.
