On 07/16/18 at 12:52 A.M., officers of the Janesville Police Department responded to the 2000 Block of Morningside Dr. for a stabbing. Officers located the victim on the ground, near the street, with multiple stab wounds. The victim was able to call 911 to report the incident.
The victim was transported to a local medical facility with life-threatening injuries. Police are still actively investigating this incident. Evidence technicians and detectives have been called in to assist with the investigation.
