HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Heat
Advisory, which is in effect from noon today to 6 PM CDT this
evening.
* TEMPERATURE...Afternoon temperatures are expected to range from 90 to 95 degrees.
* HEAT INDEX...The heat index will peak between 105 and 108
degrees, before thunderstorms develop and drop the temperature.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are possible, especially for
people working or playing outdoors. Pets are also susceptible
to heat illness.
