Deputy locates man involved in domestic dispute and also discovers outstanding warrants and meth 
Deputy David Jones of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Ricky James McPeters, 35, of 299 Foxtail Heights in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine. McPeters was also served with four outstanding warrants for failure to appear.
At 9:57 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, Jones was on Yancey Road looking for the occupant of a vehicle reportedly involved in a domestic dispute.
Jones saw the car, stopped it and found McPeters driving.
He was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants, and, during a search of McPeters, Jones found .5 gram of methamphetamine.
