Juvenile arrested for impersonating a peace officer, arrested again for violating probation

INCIDENT: Impersonating a Peace Officer
LOCATION: 12400 block of Kirkwood Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT: 14-year old male
SUMMARY:
On July 11, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department were requested to respond to the 12400 block of Kirkwood Drive, to assist San Bernardino County Juvenile Probation Officers.
Probation Officers had gone to the location to conduct a probation check on a 14-year old probationer and during the contact located numerous items indicating the juvenile had been impersonating a Peace Officer. The items found included uniform shirts outfitted with San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department patches, a metal badge from another Southern California law enforcement agency, uniform pants and other items.
The juvenile has a history of impersonating a peace officer, having been arrested for the crime on March 6, 2018. The items were collected from the home and booked as evidence. The juvenile was arrested and booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center.
