Antonio Ortiz of Victorville arrested for possession of child pornography

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, April 25, 2018, investigators from the Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC), began an investigation into a cyber tip that was reported by an Electronic Service Provider (ESP). The tip contained images of child pornography. Through investigation, investigators determined the ESP account belonged to the suspect, Antonio Ortiz.
On July 6, 2018, at 1:30 pm, detectives and deputies from the Specialized Enforcement Detail (SED) contacted Ortiz in the 12000 block of Glenwood Ln, in the city of Victorville. Ortiz was transported to the Victorville Police Station where investigators from the Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children contacted Ortiz. At the conclusion of the investigation, investigators arrested Ortiz for possession of child pornography. Ortiz was booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
